Roles and responsibilities:
Lead games and activities and regularly revise them and adapt them to the needs of the children;
Help in setting schedules for daily/weekly activities for children;
Closely supervise children during group play and ensure they are safe while receiving services in the CFS;
Appropriately handle any crises or issues that arise in the CFS;
Create a positive and trustful atmosphere while interacting with children and parents, encouraging them to express their needs and ensuring their feeling of safety;
Observe children with special needs and ensure they are well integrated into the activities and if needed refer them to relevant services;
Take children’s attendance for each session, keep accurate, daily updated records and safely store them;
Answer questions from community members and parents about what activities are taking place in the CFS;
Maintain effective communication with parents/caregivers and establish professionals but caring relationships with them and their children;
Identify and provide materials required for activities preferred by children, in coordination with relevant departments and procurement procedures;
Attend trainings organized by the IRC and/ or other organizations;
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy and IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct;
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the implementation of Child Protection activities in the project districts while ensuring coordination with the key stakeholders.
Ensure that all interventions are in-line with the strategy, and CP Minimum Standards.
Supervise and provide technical support to CFS Facilitators by visiting Child Friendly Spaces and CP Case Workers during field visits.
Guide CFS facilitators in working with children to develop new, creative activities as appropriate.
Apply and adhere to guiding principles of working with survivors and children at risk, including respect, dignity, security, and confidentiality at all times
Responsible of making ‘Best Interest Principle’ the center of all interventions.
Regularly mentor Gender Support Groups members and conduct monthly meetings.
Registered GBV cases and provide case management services to registered GBV survivors as per IASC guidelines.
Arrange and conduct seminars, events, coordination meetings and other awareness related activities at targeted Field area.
Assist program Officer in trainings and other project related activities.
Conduct exit interviews, KAP surveys, FGD and GSG capacity assessment and 
provide technical support to address identified needs.
Facilitate in conducting EMAP activities in target RVs.
Regularly liaise with the CPO for support and case conferencing together with the Child Protection Coordinator.
Document cases according to organization standards and maintain all records in a secure and confidential way.
Promote awareness among the communities around key child protection issues their monitoring and referral/case management processes.
Liaise with other service providers to strengthen referral mechanism and always ensure safe and smooth referrals.
Participate in the meetings to share regular updates e.g. number of cases and major categories.
Conduct coordination meetings, focus session with community elders/religious 
leaders and adolescents on GBV and mental health basic concepts.
Compile activity reports and data entry.
Identify and document success stories, case studies, best practices and lessons learned.
Facilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management through CBFRM in a transparent manner.

Conduct session with children regarding mental health and Psycho social support in camps through different Information education communication tools.
Visit daily Relief camps
Facilitate weekly meetings with Parents
Data collection, management and field Reporting

independently conducting interviews and jotting down detailed notes on interviews and observational visits
effectively managing field work processes to ensure efficiency 
facilitating meetings among the research team and junior research staff
training new junior staff Community Health Workers - CHWs) in research / interviewing skills and proper data collection processes 
visiting different households in the communities to ensure successful completion of data collection in their areas including quality control
liaising with admin regarding logistics for field/hospital work
developing and conducting regular trainings of CHWs
providing supervision and support to CHWs liaising with their respected supervisors
raising wider community awareness on child health related issues based on project guidelines ensuring field implementation of project related SOPs and guidelines as defined in the research project
Preparing and presenting weekly project related activity reports.

Organize group sessions at community level.
