1 week at WAPDA House (Telecom) 5 weeks at 220kV G/S New Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. Grid station Operation, Protection. 220 and 132 KV yard visit, SLD's. Monitor and control the operations & protections of Grid. To Understand hierarchy of control room equipment, Battery backup, KWH Meters, P.F Meters, Ammeters, Voltmeters, Watt Meter, Auto transformer, CT and PT, Surge arrestor, Bus bar etc. And visit of NPCC at Islamabad.
Intern
3 weeks at switching center 3 weeks at regional operational center Switching and transmission system. To Understand hierarchy of Control room, Battery backup, STP SSP, C4/C5 network, HCTE, switch and routers, trunk E1, T1, STM, PDH, SDH, MSAG , PTCL vendors etc.
