Currently serving as Manager Investment Analysis at China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Company Ltd (CSAIL), an investment holding company in the renewable energy sector having an investment portfolio of US$ 5bn and instrumental in development of key infrastructure projects in Pakistan under One Belt One Road (OBROR) umbrella. Hands on experience of making strategic presentations/ recommendations to the Board of Directors comprising representative members from multilateral shareholders like International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Silk Road Fund (SRF)
Preparation of long term strategic & business plan along with Management measures /Policies to effectively implement business plan
Assist in monitoring of multilateral shareholders’/ lenders’ covenants related to various funding rounds,exit strategies and to enhance the Internal Rate of return (IRR) committed to shareholders
Monitor investment portfolio of existing projects from a parent company view point and identify investment risks and early warning of found issues
Preparation of detailed project financial models for new approved projects including all the sensitivities /risk management scenarios and valuations
Assist in phase 1 pre-development due diligence process of the projects. Key areas of due diligence under phase 1 includes (i) approval of project’s feasibility study (ii) approval of tariff structure (iii) formation of SPV (iv) financial close of the transaction
Identify avenues to increase Return on Equity and Internal rate of returns of the portfolio projects by identifying critical financial aspects

inclusion of new multilateral shareholders at holding company level to prepare for future IPO preferably in regional market.
Successfully managed Project Finance (PF) portfolio of more than 10 transactions from various industries including Power generation, Infrastructure and coal mining. Achieved Financial close of some of the landmark investment banking transactions through a consortium of local as well as multilateral FIs’ including IFC, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and OPEC Fund.
