• Maintaining a replacement reserve fund for replacing vehicles and vehicle-related equipment.
• Conduct cost-effective procurement, resource utilization, budget and project cost analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of current trends and technological developments pertaining to
procurement, utilization, operation, budget/cost allocation and fuel/maintenance.
• Review standards for driving, accident reporting procedures, and disciplinary actions related to
policy violations, and similar vehicle-related subjects.
• To approve all fuel, Tyre and maintenance invoices for payment.
• Ensuring vehicle, equipment and human resources are fully utilized by providing superior
customer service, employee effectiveness and cost control in a safe, professional manner through
effective management and leadership.
• Formulate, recommend, and administer policies and procedures governing fleet management
operations at regional level.
• Provide supervision, guidance and leadership to ensure that all FM employees are accountable for safe, environmentally sound and compliant operations.
• Support the implementation of Fleet Operations excellence initiatives. Maintain knowledge and
provide direction regarding compliance of all company and governmental policies (i.e. operations,
personnel, HSSE).
• Establish, manage and control Fleet Management budget and KPIs.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance for entire Fleet Operations.
• Develop specifications necessary for the procurement of new vehicles, parts and equipment.
• Development of dedicated solutions for a range of blue chip and SME Clients.
• Recommends additions or deletions to fleet; scheduling expenditures; analyzing
variances.
