Painting / coating inspection of steel structural works, pipelines.
Responsible for stage wise coating / painting inspection.
Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and painting/ coating application.
Blasting & Painting/Coating Inspection which includes Surface Cleanliness Check, Blasting Profile Check, Humidity & Dew point Check, Dry & Wet Film Thickness Check, Wet sponge pinhole detection test, High voltage Holiday test and carrying out of all types of destructive and more sophisticated Non-destructive tests, etc.
Prepare Inspection & tests plan ITP for specific project, company requirements, surface preparation & painting, coating procedure.
Knowledgeable also in application, inspection of Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) & Polyurethane (PU), Poly propylene (PP), Poly ethylene (PE), Concrete coatings and heat shrink sleeves for onshore oil and gas Underground pipelines, etc.
Execute painting / coating inspection work as per company / project inspection test plan.
To check & monitor all painting / coating related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company procedure, client requirement and international codes.
Responsible for incoming coating / painting material inspection and has to ensure whether these material suits to meets the requirements of project specification.
Prepare all necessary QA/QC painting / Coating documents and handed over to clients review.
Review of calibration status of all inspection equipments .
Maintain standards of safety and comply with company health, safety and environment management system requirements.
Good knowledge of all international surface preparation standards, painting / coating application standards, inspection standards, contracts, specifications, material technical data sheets, material safety data sheets, documentation. Conversant to most of the international codes required standards (SAUDI ARAMCO ENGINEERING STANDARDS, ASME, ASTM, BS, JIS, DIN, ISO, SSPC,

-Going through daily production reports with a view to identify potential areas of improvement and adjustment of production schedules.
-Meetings with clients representatives, suppliers and service providers.
-Ensures that the Production group operates in accordance with Company Process Safety Management (PSM) on highly hazardous substances like solvents, inks, adhesives and others.
-Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
-Allocate the resources of the plant and of staff in the most effective proportions to meet targets.
-Actively control and supervise the manpower (Labors, Supervisors, and Trainee Engineers etc) in production department.
-Efficient and timely execution of new development samples taking special care of all process parameters.
-Monitoring, Controlling & Maintaining Quality level throughout the manufacturing process as per desired International Standards.
-Ensure that all testing and inspection are carried out as per defined frequency of desired standards.
-Responsible for identifying quality issues e.g. defect or non-conformity arising from vendor end or production line and implementing corrective action plan in coordination with quality representatives.
-Assist Staff in Root Cause Analysis so that issues do not continually reoccur.
-Perform Root Cause Analysis for customer complaints and to raise preventive actions.
-Improvement of laboratory process and procedures and their implementation.
-Responsible for training and education of quality and Production team.
-Partially take part in mechanical maintenance of equipment and plan up-gradation.
-Calibration of all lab & production line equipments e.g. V.C, Circumference Tape, Weight Scales.
-Ensure the implementation of of ISO 9001-2015 in quality department.

-Lean Quality Tools (FMEA, Pareto Charts, Fishbone Diagrams, Six Sigma 5S, 8D Methodology).
-Process Development & Improvement.
-Proficient in using of measuring tools like V.C, Height Gauge, Bevel Gauge, Micro Meter etc.
-Direct and motivate the workforce, review performance, identify training needs often through supervisory staff.
-Develop detailed process flowcharts for all processes as a part of Work Standardization.
-Determine the rejection causes and implementation of countermeasures.
-Implementation of process quality control charts (PQCT) and SOPs.
-Actively control and supervise the manpower (Labors, Supervisors etc) in Quality Control & Production department.
-Efficient and timely execution of new development samples taking special care of all process parameters.
-Ensuring efficient use of all organizational resources i.e. Machinery, Manpower and Materials.
-Ensure that quality standards and deadlines are met and quality controls are in place.

In Millat tractors limited I have worked in the production department involving tractor assembly plant, engine assembly plant, manufacturing shop. In engine assembly plant I have worked and experienced on segregation plant, assembly line, engine testing line. In manufacturing shop, I have worked and experienced about different machines those are used in machining of different engine parts like CNC machines and lathe machines.
