Python developer

We are looking for a talented Python developer to design and implement RESTful APIs that control hardware devices within a clinical setting. This role requires close collaboration with Windows system APIs and interaction with various external software and hardware interfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of local REST agents deployed on clinic PCs. The position demands writing clean, modular, and well-documented code, with a strong emphasis on both software development and hardware communication protocols. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for someone with hands-on experience bridging software and hardware in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI to effectively manage hardware devices.
- Integrate with Windows APIs, including audio and display controls, leveraging tools such as pycaw and nircmd.
- Enable communication with external software systems to ensure smooth interoperability.
- Interface with serial (RS232) or TCP-connected devices using pyserial or socket programming techniques.
- Maintain security and reliability standards for local REST agents deployed across multiple clinic PCs.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented Python code to support maintainability and scalability.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proficiency with FastAPI or similar RESTful frameworks.
- Experience with system-level scripting or interaction on Windows platforms, including familiarity with ctypes, subprocess, or pywin32.
- Knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as RS232, TCP/IP, and USB.
- Strong debugging and testing skills on Windows operating systems.
- Solid understanding of API design principles, modular software architecture, and basic security practices.
