QA Analyst – Mid Level

Contrive Solutions is seeking a motivated Mid-Level QA Analyst to join its quality assurance team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where quality and innovation are prioritized. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software requirements. Execute manual and exploratory testing across both web and mobile platforms to identify defects and usability issues. Utilize Jira or similar bug tracking tools to document, track, and report defects effectively. Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to uphold product quality and meet project deadlines. Conduct various testing types including regression, functional, usability, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and reliability. Participate actively in requirement reviews, offering valuable feedback from a QA perspective to improve product design and implementation. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and testing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure all testing activities, results, and quality metrics are thoroughly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Proficiency in using testing tools and bug tracking systems such as Jira, TestRail, and Postman is essential. Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent performance across different environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.
