You will support the finance and accounting operations of the company. This role will help ensure accurate financial data entry, timely recordkeeping, and efficient support of daily accounting functions. The assistant will work closely with the accountant and management team to maintain transparent financial practices.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure proper categorization
Assist in preparing invoices and ensure timely follow-up on payments
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts monthly
Track expenses and enter bills into the system
Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support payroll processing by organizing and verifying timesheets
Organize and maintain digital files for receipts, contracts, and financial documents
Assist in tax preparation by compiling necessary financial data
Maintain confidentiality and data protection at all times
Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and team members regarding finance-related inquiries
Skills and Qualifications
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred but not required
