The Business Unit Head for the Cosmetics Brand / garments brand / food brand

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and implement long-term and short-term business strategies.
    • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
    • Identify growth opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
  2. Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage the supply chain, including sourcing, production, and inventory management.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  3. Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  4. Marketing and Sales:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to set targets and develop sales initiatives.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  5. Product Development and Innovation:

    • Drive product innovation and development in collaboration with R&D and design teams.
    • Ensure new products meet market demand and maintain high-quality standards.
    • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
    • Identify training and development needs for team members.
  7. Customer Focus:

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality products and services.
    • Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve offerings.
    • Develop and implement customer retention and loyalty programs.
  8. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
    • Identify potential business risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the cosmetics industry, with a proven track record in a senior management role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive strategies in the cosmetics sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of product development and innovation process.
