We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 10 years in the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost and contract management, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects.
Key Skills Required:
- Cost Management: Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage budgets, and control construction costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Management: Expertise in handling various types of contracts, addressing contractual issues, and ensuring compliance with financial and legal regulations.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in construction methods, materials, technology, and industry standards/codes.
- Cost Analysis: Strong capability in calculating item rates for tenders and bids.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in construction software (CAD, BIM) and cost estimation tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting running bills for client/consultant approval.
- Preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Calculating rates for project tenders.
- Producing and modifying technical drawings using CAD software.
- Proficient in M.S Excel, Word, Project
