Implement internal audit plans, policies, and procedures by applicable laws and regulations.
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
Inspect books of accounts and ensure that they are free of misstatements.
Examine of monthly and quarterly sales tax and income tax returns and ensure that these are prepared as per applicable laws.
Verification of payments made by a company to its employees against monthly salary, wages and incentives also verifies payment to vendors against purchasing.
Conduct cash and stock count activities and ensure that such activities are being performed according to SOPs.
Carry out additional tasks assigned by the line manager.
