We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A Driver Recruiter to join our team and lead the talent acquisition efforts specifically focused on CDL Class A drivers. This role requires managing the full recruitment lifecycle, maintaining strong driver relations, developing training programs, and supporting succession planning within the driver workforce. The ideal candidate will work approximately 40 hours per week and bring extensive experience with HR systems such as Salesforce, Taleo, and Workday, while ensuring full compliance with employment labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire CDL Class A driver recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new drivers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve driver retention and engagement.
- Conduct performance evaluations for drivers and provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth.
- Address driver relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions tailored to the driver workforce.
- Collaborate with management to design and implement training programs aimed at enhancing driver skills and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment labor laws and regulations affecting drivers.
- Support succession planning initiatives by identifying and cultivating future driver leaders and trainers within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR or recruiting roles, with a strong focus on CDL Class A driver talent acquisition, driver relations, and training development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations relevant to the transportation industry and drivers.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Salesforce, Taleo, Workday, and ADP.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with drivers and employees at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
