Senior Python / Back End Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team and take ownership of our backend systems. This is not a typical service-oriented role—we want someone who is product-focused and invested in long-term success. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable backend services, ensuring robust test coverage, and driving best practices in development and deployment.If you thrive in fast-paced startup environments, love solving complex problems, and take full ownership of your work, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable APIs using FastAPI and Python.
Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
Experience with ORM frameworks like SQLModel is a plus.
Build and deploy services on AWS, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.
Set up and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure 100% test coverage through unit and integration testing.
Work with AI models (fine-tuning, training, and integrating into our platform) – a plus.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate quickly and efficiently.T
ake full ownership of product development, not just short-term projects.

Requirements

5+ years of Python experience in a senior role.
Expertise with FastAPI and other modern Python web frameworks.
Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, optimization, etc.).Experience with ORM frameworks like SQLModel is a plus.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD for deployments.Startup mentality – ability to move fast, iterate, and take full ownership.
Strong testing discipline – must be comfortable writing tests with 100% coverage.
AI experience (fine-tuning/training models) is a plus.
