Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Design and oversee the curriculum for the specific subject, ensuring alignment with both national standards and RISC's educational objectives.
- Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Faculty Support and Development:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to subject teachers, fostering professional growth and effective instructional practices.
- Organize and lead professional development sessions to keep faculty updated on the latest educational trends and subject-specific advancements.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop assessment tools to monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
- Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Resource Management:
- Identify and procure necessary teaching materials and resources to support effective instruction.
- Ensure that all resources are utilized efficiently and maintained appropriately.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other department heads and school leadership to promote interdisciplinary learning and maintain a cohesive educational approach.
- Facilitate regular meetings with subject teachers to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
Student Support and Engagement:
- Address individual student needs within the subject area, providing additional support or enrichment opportunities as necessary.
- Encourage and organize subject-related extracurricular activities to further student interest and engagement.
