Manager Quality Control

To coordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality. In particular to review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects, to ensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the quality of manufactured items to meet the requirements of the Contract specifications.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

1. Have a round of Production floors, if found any discrepancies/problems regarding making spare parts of low quality or any wrong item received from Inventory. Take the prompt decision after consulting with the respective Department Head and if any concession is required from any director or Chief Executive said authority is approached.

2. Ensures that product is not dispatched either to the finished goods store or to the next stage until all activities and documented procedures regarding quality have not been followed and completed.

3. To continuously review quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements, and making recommendations for improvement as appropriate.

4. Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for a project meets contractual requirements.

5. Review and approve Contractor and sub-contractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements.

Coordination and Liaison

1. Contribute to Business Development and success of current projects by the internal referral and communication of appropriate information and intelligence, together with any project-specific information.

2. Provide comprehensive communication to underpin effective working relationships.

3. Liaise with the Head of Manufacturing to ensure that project contractual and quality requirements within the schedule are supported and maintained through all stages of manufacture to ensure project completion within the specified schedule.
