Style: Fast-paced, cinematic, highly engaging, story-driven
CORE SKILLS
- Editing Software Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects (bonus), or Final Cut Pro
- Speed & Turnaround: Must deliver edited videos within 24–48 hours after receiving the script + voiceover
- Cinematic Editing: Use pacing, sound design, motion graphics, and music to drive emotion
- B-Roll Mastery: Strong ability to find, select, and edit copyright-safe B-roll (from stock libraries or public domain)
- Text Animation: Must know how to animate quotes, captions, and hook overlays with dynamic motion
- Sound Design: Understand how to use sound effects and cinematic music to intensify mood and emotion
HARD REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience editing for YouTube (not TikTok or Instagram)
- Strong portfolio with long-form YouTube videos in niches like crime, drama, history, or commentary
- Understands story structure (Intro → Hook → Build-Up → Payoff → Outro)
- Can follow strict brand styles and visual checklists (we provide moodboards + TN/ED templates)
- Comfortable with daily or bi-daily outputs
- Willing to complete trial edit
BONUS SKILLS (Not required, but preferred)
- Experience working with voiceovers + AI-generated content
- Ability to slice Shorts out of long-form content with built-in virality
