We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our accounts and finance team at our Islamabad office. The ideal candidate will assist in various day-to-day accounting tasks including tax preparations, financial documentation, and reporting. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires a responsible and punctual individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
Assist in the preparation of vouchers, invoices, and payment documentation
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in preparing Sales Tax, Withholding Taxes, and Advance Taxes, and ensure proper documentation
Help ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with relevant laws
Provide assistance to senior accountants and management in all assigned tasks
Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
Working knowledge of Sales Tax, Withholding Taxes, and Advance Taxes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Neat and legible handwriting
Punctual, reliable, and well-organized
Ability to follow instructions and support the team as needed
Office Timings:
9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Weekly Holiday: Friday
Additional Requirement:
Candidate must be willing to sign a one-year employment bond upon selection
