Textile Designer

We are an export-oriented garment manufacturing unit seeking an experienced Textile Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong research and development (R&D) skills, with the ability to identify potential and niche products within specific geographic areas. They should possess the necessary skills to develop product lines using conventional and non-conventional processes in the garment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct extensive market research to identify emerging trends and niche product opportunities.
Develop innovative textile designs and product lines tailored to market demands.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
Oversee sampling and prototyping processes to ensure design accuracy and quality.
Work with suppliers to source appropriate materials and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor activities to keep the company’s products competitive.
Ensure all products comply with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Textile Designer, preferably in the garment industry.
Strong R&D skills with a track record of developing successful product lines.
In-depth knowledge of fabric properties, textile design software, and production processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
