We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator and Data Entry specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our computer systems, as well as operating and maintaining computer equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer systems with high accuracy and speed
- Operate and maintain computer equipment, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data cleaning and data validation tasks as required
- Provide technical support and assistance to other staff members as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- May require sitting for long periods of time
