We are seeking an experienced and skilled Web Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications, databases, and software systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Laravel, coding, database management, and WordPress
Responsibilities:
Programming and Development
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and other relevant technologies
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Web Development
- Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress and other relevant technologies
- Ensure website security, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites
- Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues
General Responsibilities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
- Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed
Requirements:
- Education and Experience
- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in programming, database administration, and web development
- Experience with Laravel, WordPress, and other relevant technologies
Technical Skills
- Proficient in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Laravel and WordPress
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
