You will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
• Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax / Income Tax returns as required.
• Support the finance team in audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure documentation is compliant with internal controls.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing and expense queries.
• Monitor petty cash, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Candidate must be MBA Finance, ACCA & ICMA (At least Part Qualified).
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred.
• Hands-on experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Accounting Software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Work Environment:
• Full-time, office-based position.
• May require occasional extended hours during reporting periods or audits.
