Position Summary:

The Packaging Assistant / Distributor will play a crucial role in the SIF School Meal Distribution Project by ensuring accurate and efficient packaging of meals for distribution to schools. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards & Timely delivery of food at schools.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility is to fully involve in cutting and preparing food items for Cooks in the Kitchen.
Shifting of Food Pots from the Cooking area to the packaging area.
Prepare packaging materials such as boxes, containers, and labels for meal distribution
Assist in the assembly line process by packaging meals according to specified guidelines and quantities.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all packaged meals meet the project's standards for freshness, portion size, and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging area, including equipment and storage spaces, to uphold food safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and communicate needs to the supervisor to ensure uninterrupted production.
Work closely with team members, including kitchen staff and distribution. coordinators, to facilitate smooth operations and timely delivery of meals
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food products and adherence to hygiene protocols

Note: This position will be filled on rolling basis.
