Key Responsibilities
Lead variance analysis against budgets and oversee comprehensive budgeting processes across multiple markets, ensuring accurate monthly accruals for all operational regions. Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives, playing a strategic role in financial planning and spend management. Develop and enforce expenditure control measures aligned with budget allocations for various markets.
Design and maintain financial systems and dashboards that enhance visibility and control over spending, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve financial systems and processes to meet evolving business needs. Work closely with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
Up to 9 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with knowledge of SQL considered an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive approach to data gathering and insight generation, are critical for impactful decision-making. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly and persuasively conveying complex financial information. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial principles, is required.
