The Senior Talent Onboarding Specialist is responsible for guiding qualified candidates through the Randstad Sourceright Payroll Solutions onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into their new roles. This position manages all orientation activities, including welcome communications, legal documentation, TAPA compliance, I-9 verification, and readiness-to-start notifications. Acting as a vital link between talent, clients, and internal teams, the specialist ensures a seamless onboarding experience while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage onboarding communications using written correspondence, phone calls, and text messages, leveraging standardized templates where applicable. Coordinate and oversee required screenings and background checks to ensure compliance. Handle Vendor Management System (VMS) activities as necessary and maintain real-time documentation through effective tracker management. Ensure complete accuracy in managing eVerify and I-9 compliance processes. Proactively communicate with talent, clients, and internal partners throughout the onboarding journey. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve onboarding issues while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Review onboarding requests to confirm that roles and job descriptions align with Randstad Sourceright guidelines concerning risk, geographic location, minimum wage, and scope. Accurately place newly hired candidates on orders and assignments, ensuring all details are precise and complete.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have three to six years of experience in payroll operations, human resources, staffing, or customer service. Familiarity with vendor management systems (VMS) and payroll tools or solutions is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is highly desirable. A strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, particularly those related to I-9 verification, is essential. Knowledge of background check procedures, drug test regulations, and compliance requirements is also preferred.
