Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for all business data inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Develop and maintain reporting solutions by applying engineering best practices and utilizing a variety of reporting tools. Continuously enhance reporting processes and tools to deliver deeper business insights. Support business units by translating complex data sets into clear tables, graphs, and written reports. Present findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build subject matter expertise to define key business metrics and uncover new opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to support decision-making. Test and communicate new product features to end users, ensuring smooth adoption. Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy. Design and assess data collection methods, including surveys and opinion polls. Gather and analyze data related to consumers, competitors, and market conditions to inform strategy.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of four years’ experience in an analytical role is essential. At least three years of hands-on experience with business intelligence and visualization tools, including the creation of management dashboards. Strong analytical skills combined with a passion for working with large datasets. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries against extensive data sources. Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced operational environments. Detail-oriented, process-driven, and a logical thinker. Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Looker is required. Working knowledge of Python, R, Spark, and Hive is expected.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with ETL/ELT processes is an advantage. Familiarity with dimensional data modeling, data lakes, and massively parallel processing (MPP) databases like Redshift is a plus.
