Senior Software Engineer I - Android

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product and design teams to fully understand end-user requirements and use cases. Translate these needs into practical, user-centric technical solutions that enhance the overall experience. Engage directly with end-users to gather feedback and advocate for intuitive, delightful designs. Independently develop well-architected Android applications following established design patterns and best practices. Manage the entire mobile development lifecycle to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Stay current with mobile technology trends, architectures, and emerging innovations to continuously improve the product. Apply deep knowledge of Android development paradigms, including memory management, file I/O, network programming, concurrency, multithreading, and app publishing on the Google Play Store. Work effectively with remote teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to meet aggressive project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Android application development is essential. Demonstrated expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform and dependency injection frameworks is required. Proven ability to independently build scalable and maintainable applications. Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and familiarity with the current mobile landscape, architectures, and emerging technologies. Solid grasp of interactive application development on Android, including performance optimization and multithreading techniques. Experience collaborating with remote teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies is necessary.
