We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Web Operations Manager – Strategic Marketing to drive operational excellence and ensure the smooth execution of marketing initiatives across our digital platforms. This role acts as the central hub for web marketing operations, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, managing digital asset publishing, and translating marketing requirements into clear technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between marketing and engineering teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical delivery of website campaigns, including site redesigns, feature rollouts, landing pages, and content updates.
- Manage multiple digital marketing projects from start to finish, ensuring engagement and accountability across teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for publishing new web pages, conducting thorough quality assurance to minimize risks and meet deadlines.
- Translate complex marketing requirements into precise technical requests for the Engineering team, ensuring smooth execution.
- Foster strong collaboration between Marketing and Engineering to maintain alignment on technical and strategic objectives.
- Utilize project tracking tools such as Jira to monitor progress, evaluate team performance, and provide status reports.
- Lead strategic planning efforts to ensure marketing operations are data-driven, scalable, and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Support the Director of Digital Marketing in improving website performance, focusing on publishing efficiency, infrastructure speed, and functionality.
- Provide technical oversight on marketing-related web projects in partnership with Engineering and DevOps teams.
- Drive optimization of the marketing technology stack by integrating new tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance website performance and digital asset optimization, improving user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor key website performance indicators and develop data-driven strategies to increase engagement and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest web technologies, campaign management methodologies, and digital trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Partner with Marketing Leads to identify and remove operational bottlenecks, enabling focus on strategic priorities.
- Maintain ongoing communication with marketing leadership, providing insights into objectives, progress, and key performance metrics.
- Cultivate a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance culture within Marketing and across teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document best practices and ensure scalability.
- Implement structured documentation processes to support historical reference and smooth knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing operations, website management, strategic program management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with marketing technology tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems; experience with WordPress publishing tools is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively remove blockers and optimize workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and technical teams.
- Proven ability to translate business and marketing requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, able to extract key insights and report effectively to executive stakeholders.
