We are looking for a dedicated professional to manage and optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings across multiple locations to enhance local SEO performance and boost online visibility. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the GMB portfolio, ensuring consistency and engagement while implementing local SEO strategies to improve map pack rankings and overall search presence. This role involves close collaboration with customer support and sales teams to leverage GMB as an effective tool for lead generation and customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire Google My Business portfolio across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize GMB listings by maintaining NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) consistency, selecting appropriate categories, updating services, creating posts, managing Q&A, uploading photos, and handling reviews.
- Develop and refine local SEO strategies to enhance map pack rankings and local search visibility.
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews in a manner consistent with the brand’s voice to support reputation management.
- Conduct regular GMB audits, perform keyword research, and benchmark against competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
- Create and implement content plans for GMB, including posts, updates, events, and special offers.
- Align GMB efforts with broader SEO campaigns by integrating schema markup, local citations, and backlinking strategies.
- Utilize SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, BrightLocal, Whitespark, or SEMrush to track performance, generate reports, and gain insights.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes and GMB policy updates to proactively adjust strategies.
- Collaborate closely with customer support and sales teams to maximize GMB’s effectiveness in lead generation and customer acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Google My Business optimization and local SEO.
- Strong familiarity with the GMB platform, its policies, and current search trends.
- Proficiency with local SEO tools such as Moz Local, Yext, BrightLocal, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, search engine results page (SERP) behavior, and ranking factors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor responses to public reviews appropriately.
- Experience managing listings for multi-location businesses or franchise models is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to testing and experimentation.

This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary range of Rs150,000 to Rs200,000.
