Sales Officer

This position will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication, relationship building, and strategic sales initiatives. The Sales Officer will play a key role in identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Accountabilities / Deliverables:

Actively prospect and acquire new clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.Achieve and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing customized solutions.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends to effectively communicate with clients.
Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, detailing progress towards targets and identifying areas for improvement.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Lead negotiations with clients, addressing their concerns and objections to close deals successfully.
Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements.
Ensure optimal inventory levels across the distribution network.
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to streamline inventory flow.
Implement effective strategies for timely and efficient recovery of sales.
Work closely with the finance team to resolve payment issues and minimize overdue accounts.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure a healthy cash flow.
