Serve as primary resource for clinical support.
Maintain and ensure comfortable, clean and safe environment for patients.
Answering and screening telephone calls and delivering messages promptly to the concerned person.
Keep nursing counter neat and tidy all the time.
Coordinate meetings & attend unit meeting (when required).
Initiate and send maintenance requisitions; and ensuring work completion.
Establish and maintain good working relationship with coworkers and other departments.
Handle computer and other communication devices properly and following up with regular maintenance and coordination with concerned department.
Show courtesy and tact in communication with patients, relatives and visitors and assisting them in their needs.
Schedule/ Reschedule consultant’s appointments when required
Prepare monthly reports.
Assist TL/ Manager in compiling the unit’s data.
Effective communication with IPD and OPD.
Receive Medical Record files on counter and coordinate with Medical Record Department for any missing file.
Ensure effective front desk customer dealing.
Initiate problem solving & patient’s guidance as per need.
Take consults from IPD & inform to the concerned consultant.
Respond to any verbal complain & try to resolve it immediately
Be polite & courteous while dealing with patients, visitors & attendants.
Provide service that is respectful of patient’s values and beliefs.
Maintain confidentiality of patient’s information.
Follow departmental policy, procedures & SOPs.
Respect cultural values and demonstrate the same in actions.
Greeting and directing patients to right staff.
Guiding patients as per patient’s needs on different Shifa services, new projects and patient care intimations.
Participate in quality improvement and assurance activities.
Any additional task assigned by management.
