Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
- Employ effective teaching methodologies and integrate current evidence-based practices into instruction.
- Supervise and evaluate student performance in preclinical laboratory, clinical settings, and academic assessments.
- Contribute to the development and review of the dental curriculum.
- Mentor and advise dental students.
Research and Scholarship:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in a specialized area of dentistry.
- Seek and secure extramural funding through grant applications (with mentorship and support).
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed dental and related journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Engage in scholarly activities to advance knowledge in the field.
Clinical Practice (if applicable):
- Provide high-quality patient care in a specialized area of dentistry, adhering to ethical and professional standards.
- Supervise and guide dental students and residents in clinical procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
Service and Administration:
- Serve on departmental, school/college, and university committees as assigned.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative tasks.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching, research, and clinical skills.
- Participate in outreach and community service activities related to oral health.
