We are seeking a skilled and proactive Shopify Developer to oversee the daily maintenance, development, and optimization of our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs, along with a solid understanding of e-commerce best practices. This role demands an independent worker who can troubleshoot effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and improve the Shopify store daily to ensure seamless operation.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and technical issues promptly.
- Customize Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript according to business requirements.
- Integrate and manage third-party applications and APIs, including payment gateways and shipping solutions.
- Work closely with design and marketing teams to develop new pages, landing pages, and promotional features.
- Monitor website performance, optimize loading speeds, and ensure full mobile responsiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance testing before launching new features or updates.
- Assist with product uploads, inventory management, and site configuration as needed.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for code and development workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Shopify theme customization and app integration.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Shopify’s Admin API and Storefront API.
- Understanding of SEO best practices tailored to Shopify stores.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify Plus is advantageous but not required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
