B.E /B.Sc in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute

- Expertise in Fire Deduction System
Responsibilities
- To ensure strict compliance with their department's / divisions operational Fire Safety functions and also ensure operations are provided with the necessary resources.
- To establish a system for managing fire protection and deduction system processes as per applicable regulatory requirements
- To conduct scheduled maintenance of the fire detection and alarm systems.
- To conduct a routine inspection of the fire alarm system.
- To ensure the design and specification of fire alarm systems meet applicable codes and standards.
- To conduct site surveys to assess fire risks and determine the best location for fire alarm devices
- To install and programme control panels and all other equipment for fire alarm systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts
- To conduct the testing and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
- To inspect and test systems, batteries, and electrical wiring; make adjustments and repairs as required.
- To conduct training for staff regarding the fire alarm system. Explains and demonstrates system function and operation to end users.
- Prepare documentation, as-fitted drawings, zone plans, fire evacuation plans, certifications, manuals, etc. for completed works.
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities, as assigned from time to time by the DGM-HSE
