Accounts Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in ERP software (preferably Peachtree), and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Maintain and update accounting records and databases.
Support the finance team in day-to-day operations and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in ERP software, particularly Peachtree (experience with other ERP systems will also be considered).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
