The (Coordinator) Fabrication Workshop – Workshop & Preventive Maintenance is responsible for overseeing workshop operations, executing preventive maintenance programs, managing technical materials, and supporting procurement processes. The role also includes performing additional tasks as assigned by the manager to ensure smooth and efficient maintenance and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily workshop activities including scheduling, manpower, and resource planning.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment.
Review and interpret technical drawings for fabrication, repairs, and installations.
Prepare or update engineering drawings and technical documentation as required.
Coordinate with production and utility teams to align maintenance schedules with operations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and service reports.
Identify and resolve recurring mechanical issues through root cause analysis.
Inspect and verify all received items against technical specifications and purchase orders.

Ensure proper documentation and storage of received materials.Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) for parts, tools, and maintenance materials.

Prepare Goods Receipt (GR) documentation upon material delivery and verification.
Ensure availability and tracking of critical spare parts for routine and emergency maintenance.
Supervise fabrication and mechanical repair work in the workshop.
Enforce safety practices and regulatory compliance during all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and technical support.
Support audits, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Manager in support of departmental goals.
Collaboration with 3P Contractors: Work closely with third-party contractors to ensure efficient execution of various tasks.
