We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and possess strong communication and sales skills. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will identify potential customers, educate them on the benefits of solar energy systems, and close sales to help clients transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and contact prospective customers through cold calls, referrals, networking, and door-to-door visits.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct in-depth consultations to evaluate customers' energy needs, roof structures, and electricity usage.
  • Educate and Inform: Explain the benefits of solar energy systems, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives (tax credits, rebates etc.).
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver engaging presentations to showcase solar solutions tailored to the customers' needs.
  • Follow-Up and Closing: Build strong relationships with clients, follow up on leads, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Site Assessments: Assist in gathering site data (roof size, shading analysis, energy consumption) for system design and proposals.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and local solar incentives to better position the company.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (solar industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address customer questions and concerns.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy and solar products (training will be provided).
