SQA Analyst

Jonas Gladstone, a division of Constellation Software, focuses on Leisure Management Software for the UK and Ireland, catering to leisure centres, trusts, and private clubs. We are currently looking for a motivated SQA Analyst to join our Karachi office. This role involves working closely with the onshore R&D team to ensure the quality and reliability of .NET products through both manual and automated testing within an agile framework.

Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of .NET applications to detect defects and maintain software quality. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and project goals. Conduct various testing types including functional, regression, system integration, and performance testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing using Specflow (C#), Rest Sharp, and Playwright. Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Track and manage defects using Jira and Zephyr, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate fixes and support successful software releases. Continuously update knowledge of QA trends, tools, and technologies to improve testing processes.

Required Qualifications
Strong experience in manual testing of .NET applications with a keen eye for defect identification. Proficiency in automated testing frameworks including Rest Sharp, Specflow (C#) for API testing, and Playwright for UI testing. Solid understanding of agile and scrum methodologies with hands-on experience working in agile teams. Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking. Experience using Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaboration. Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write database queries. ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage. A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a similar industry or domain. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and release management. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Understanding of microservices architecture and associated testing strategies.
