We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead the expansion of our payment and fund transfer network in Pakistan. This role focuses on building and managing partnerships with local financial institutions—including banks and e-wallet providers such as Easypaisa and JazzCash—while ensuring the compliant, seamless flow of funds between PKR and USDT to support global business operations.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Pakistan’s financial ecosystem, including PSPs, banks, and local exchange routes. You should be a self-starter capable of leading partnership development, overseeing integration processes, and coordinating both technical and business aspects of fund channel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Establish and manage partnerships with local banks, e-wallet providers (e.g., Easypaisa, JazzCash), and third-party PSPs.
  • Conduct detailed market research on Pakistan’s payments landscape, including customer behavior, competitors, regulations, and risks.
  • Design and execute localized payment strategies, driving efficient market entry and operational scalability.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, legal counsel, and consulting firms to ensure full compliance with local financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (product, compliance, tech) to support seamless integration and operations.
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic deals
  • Deep understanding of Pakistan’s payment infrastructure, including banking APIs, PSPs, and local exchange routes
  • Clear and persuasive in both verbal and written communication; confident in stakeholder and regulatory discussions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in the payments or fintech industry, specifically within the Pakistani market
  • Existing connections with banks and/or e-wallet providers in Pakistan
  • Fluency in both Urdu and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to coordinate technical integrations and understand API-based payment flows
  • Familiarity with local laws, compliance requirements, and licensing procedures
  • Strong market analysis and risk evaluation skills to support data-driven decisions
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing complex projects in a remote setup
