We are seeking an experienced Tax Filing Officer to manage and oversee tax compliance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, compliance with tax laws and regulations, and maintaining relationships with tax authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other tax filings.
2. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate records and meeting filing deadlines.
3. Tax Planning: Provide tax planning advice and support to management and other departments.
4. Tax Authority Liaison: Liaise with tax authorities, including responding to inquiries and resolving tax disputes.
5. Tax Research: Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
3. Professional certification: Professional certification, such as CPA or CMA, preferred.
4. Strong technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
5. Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with tax software: Experience with tax software, such as tax preparation software or ERP systems.
2. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations: In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws.
3. Excellent communication skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate tax information to non-technical stakeholders.
