Tech Inn is a software development company specialized in Cloud based Point of Sales Management Systems. Majority of our customers are from the international market.
Position Overview (Remote Job / Work from Home): We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and resolve defects, bugs, and inconsistencies.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user scenarios.
- Document and report identified issues using bug tracking systems and provide detailed descriptions to assist in debugging and resolution.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to enhance testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience in iOS, Android and Web Applications testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer in software development projects.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques, including test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB certification).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and test automation frameworks.
