Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for seasoned and dynamic Family Physician for its Diagnostic Centre in Chitral Region.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing patients visiting to the Diagnostic Centre for seeking care including proper referral when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Should be fully aware of the mission and key objectives of the AKHS, P and endeavors to implement with team spirit within the department.
- Conduct regular family medicine clinics (examination of patients, advising diagnostic investigation lab and radiology, interpreting results and drugs prescription)
- Monitoring and providing general care to patients in outpatient clinics, timely referring high risk cases to other hospitals for timely management
- Has potential to effectively manage patients providing holistic & cost-effective care?
- Provide health education to patients.
- Provide emergency coverage where necessary.
- Conducting mobile clinics in pockets areas for OPD patients and referral cases.
- Remaining discreet about patient information and official related matters in public
Education, Experience & Competencies
- MBBS, MCPS/ FCPS(II) with valid PMDC license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and practical skills
- Should have an aptitude of working in a multidisciplinary team
- Team working skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Good time management
- Good communication and team building skills
