Job Responsibilities:

The Department Head Data Science shall be responsible for leading data-driven strategies, overseeing analytics teal implementing Al/ML models and Data Lakes for enhancing customer insights, and business growth and will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of advanced data analytics, Al/ML models, and big data technologies.

Build and mentor a high-performing data science team and foster a culture of innovation and data-driven decision making across the bank.
Ensure execution of bank-wide data science roadmap, aligning with IT and business objectives.
Design and implement scalable data lake architectures using appropriate technologies.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from various sources, optimize data storage and retrieval, and ensure data security and evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like generative AI, NIP, and blockchain analytics into banking systems.
Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines and infrastructure and ensure compliance with banking regulations and data governance best practices.
Develop Al ethics frameworks and risk models to mitigate biases in financial decision-making.
Collaborate with the internal/external regulator to ensure transparency in AI/ML applications and collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and cybersecurity teams.
Leverage Al/ML to drive automation, predictive analytics, and process optimization in banking operations and collaborate with IT and business users to integrate Al- driven decision-making across various business units.
Oversee the implementation of Al-driven banking applications.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from HEC recognized University/ Foreign University. Preference shall be given to Master Degree holders.

Age: Upto 55 Years as of June 30, 2025.

Experience: Minimum 08 Years of Banking/Non-Banking and 06 years’ relevant experience.
