Responsibilities:

Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, checks, gift cards, and other payment methods.
Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift and reconcile discrepancies.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, resolving any customer concerns promptly, and assisting with product inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including keeping the cashier station stocked and presentable.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and loss prevention measures.
Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as assisting with merchandise displays, light cleaning, and customer service support.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience as a cashier in a retail environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong cash handling and mathematical skills, including accurate money counting and change-making.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
