Preschool Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a nurturing approach, and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for young children. You will work closely with our lead preschool teacher to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for preschool-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons and activities for preschool students.
Support children in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Provide individual and small group instruction to students as needed.
Supervise and engage with students during playtime, meal times, and other activities.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful environment.
Monitor and document students' progress and report observations to the lead teacher.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support a collaborative learning environment.
Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and cleaning after activities.
Ensure that all activities are aligned with curriculum goals and early childhood development standards.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or educational setting (preferred).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Patient, nurturing, and positive attitude.
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other staff members.
