The Lead Generation Officer at The Pentagon Food Group plays a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients. This position involves extensive cold calling and utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software to foster relationships and enhance the sales pipeline. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that align with marketing campaigns and will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date lead information. This role does not involve team management but emphasizes collaboration with both the sales and marketing departments to optimize outreach strategies and achieve organizational targets.
Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients through industry directories and databases, ensuring a robust list of viable leads.
  • Conduct over 100 cold calls daily, initiating conversations and scheduling meetings that will lead to increased sales opportunities.
  • Utilize the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) framework to assess prospects' needs, budget constraints, and decision-making authority, effectively qualifying leads.
  • Maintain and update lead scoring in the CRM, ensuring accuracy and availability of critical information for the sales team.
  • Regularly update and manage leads in ZOHO, Salesforce, or HubSpot, ensuring all interactions and follow-ups are documented in real-time.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing departments to align outreach strategies with active marketing campaigns, driving unified efforts towards lead generation.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activities, refining targeting strategies based on market intelligence for improved lead generation.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volumes, conversion rates, and overall pipeline progress, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver persuasive pitches and nurture client relationships effectively.
  • Demonstrate resilience in handling objections and rejections, maintaining motivation and persistence in a challenging environment.
