- Reports to: Tool & Die Shop Manager
- Location: [Gujranwala]
We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our tool and die shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of toolmakers, die makers, and other support staff to ensure efficient production, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise Production: Supervise production activities, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality standards.
2. Quality Control: Ensure quality control measures are in place to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
3. Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment, including compliance with safety regulations and standards.
4. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
5. Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve production issues, including troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
6. Communication: Communicate with team members, management, and customers to ensure effective information exchange.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or degree: Diploma or degree in Tool and Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tool and die making, preferably in a supervisory role.
3. Strong technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of tooling and die making, including design, development, and manufacturing.
4. Leadership skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
5. Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with CAD/CAM software: Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or Mastercam.
2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
3. Certification in tool and die making: Certification in tool and die making or a related field.
