We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Accounting Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and spreadsheets.

3. Account Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and account analysis.

4. Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.

5. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit control.

6. Financial Analysis: Assist in performing financial analysis, including ratio analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling.

7. Audits and Compliance: Assist in preparing for audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

8. Special Projects: Assist with special projects, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
