We are looking for experienced and ambitious Azure DevOps and Windows System Admin with Linux exposure to join our team in Islamabad, Pakistan. As Azure DevOps, you will lead the development, automation, and implementation of our deployment process; securing our systems, managing core production systems, including Azure cloud infrastructure; and implementing & maintaining data solutions in Microsoft Azure using the best practices. As Windows System Admin with Linux exposure, you will monitor, administer, and maintain multiple systems, resolve customer issues, troubleshoot & resolve software errors & hardware faults, and research & evaluate new equipment & systems.
- Senior professional to join Uruk IT Solutions team
- Managing, administering, and troubleshooting Windows/Linux servers in cloud / in premises hosting environments
- Capacity and scaling management of high-traffic servers
- Configure firewalls, DNS and all software requirements of servers using an automation tool
- Manage, backup and scale MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB database
- System automation using shell scripting
- Assist with large data transfers
- Microsoft Active Directory: Administration and maintenance
- Understanding of networking and protocols
- Experience with the VMWare ESXi/vSphere
- Web/Mail servers: Apache+IIS, GMAIL
- Firewall technologies and concepts
- Cpanel and Plesk web admin
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, computer science or related field
- Certificates in relevant areas would work in your favor
- Good written/oral communication skills in English
- Min 8 years’ experience
- Experience with high traffic sites a plus
