Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of Virtual Impact Strategies by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing our customer base. Your primary focus will be on understanding market trends, building relationships with key stakeholders, and crafting and executing business development strategies to foster sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Analyze market data to develop insights that will inform business development strategies.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify and engage potential clients and partners through various channels.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Represent Virtual Impact Strategies at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine the business development strategy.
  • Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure progress.

Deal Negotiation and Closure:

  • Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners to secure agreements.
  • Close deals that align with the company's strategic goals and financial targets.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify new markets and segments for potential growth.
  • Develop and execute market entry strategies to expand our presence.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on key business development metrics and outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize strategies based on performance data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development or sales.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
