Manager Electrical Engineer

Vista Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager Electrical Engineer to oversee our electrical engineering department. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all electrical designs, projects, and systems are effectively implemented and maintained. As a Manager Electrical Engineer, you will lead a dedicated team of six professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative problem-solving and project management excellence. Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of six electrical engineers, providing mentorship and professional development.
Supervise electrical design projects from conception through execution and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Conduct thorough assessments of electrical circuit designs, power systems, and other related projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.
Utilize AutoCAD and circuit analysis tools to create detailed designs and layouts for electrical systems.
Develop and implement project management strategies, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Perform cost estimation and cost analysis for electrical projects to ascertain financial feasibility and resource allocation.
Conduct risk assessments, including quantitative risk assessments, to identify potential challenges and create mitigation strategies.
Engage in process mapping and root cause analysis to streamline operations and enhance project outcomes.
Oversee collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient electrical system integration within broader project contexts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to foster innovation within the electrical engineering department.
Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, detailing project status, resource needs, and potential risks.
Coordinate and manage procurement of materials and resources necessary for project execution.
Implement effective communication strategies within the team to encourage transparency, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement in technical skills and project execution.
